Groupe Barrière, the venerable French hospitality company behind Le Fouquet’s Paris and Hotel Le Majestic in Cannes, will make itsdébuts officielsin the U.S. next summer with the unveiling of the Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s New York.
Blending Parisian panache with Big Apple verve, the eight-storyproperty, located at 456 Greenwich Street in the city’s tony Tribeca neighborhood, aims to deliver soigné hospitality on an intimate scale. The Art Deco-inspired hotel features 97 residential-style rooms (including six suites with terraces) by acclaimed Swedish designer Martin Brudnizki, where pastel hues and inspired touches like Calacatta marble and toile de Jouy fabrics will help inform an elegantmaison de famille ambience.
Vibrant food and beverage destinations include an outpost of historic French brasserieFouquet’sand an uber-chic, violet-hued hotel bar, while artful amenities range from the sumptuous Spa Diane Barrière to a state-of-the-art screening room and a rooftop terrace offering dazzling views of the Hudson River.

Its stateside entrée, in partnership with hotel ownerCaspi Development, will mark a new company milestone.
