TheFrenchHôtel Barrière Fouquet brand is set to expand intothe U.S.The new hotel will openNew York City’s Tribeca district in 2022, ownedby Caspi Development and operated by the French Group.The eight-story Hôtel Barrière FouquetNew York will have97 residential-style rooms and suites by designer Martin Brudnizki; several food and beverage destinationsincluding an outpost of historic French brasserie Fouquet’s;a Spa Diane Barrière; aspa pool; theCannes screening room; and a rooftop terrace. Hôtel BarrièreFouquet’s New York is the first U.S. outpost of France’s family-run Groupe Barrière.

Joshua Caspi, principal ofCaspi Development, procured the 456 Greenwich Street sitein Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood, taking up a three-block radius.“We are honored to bring theBarrière brand, a prestigious icon in the hospitality industry to New York, creating a level of hospitality the Tribeca neighborhood has yet to see,” said Caspi, principal, Caspi Development. “We found a natural synergy with Groupe Barrière,sharing family-owned principles and generations-long industry expertise.
