Easter is Sunday, March 31. And if you don’t have plans yet, check out these excellent New York City restaurants for elegant brunch spread, buffets, ala carte service and top notch cuisine to celebrate in style. Hop to it – book an Easter reservation at this upscale eateries before they fill up!
Celebrate Easter Sunday with a three course brunch menu at Michelin-Starred Le Jardinier. First course menu highlights include a choice of english pea veloute served alongside lemon verbena and pearl onions, or grilled yellowfin tuna with crème fraiche, edamame and nigella seeds, along with a choice of burrata served with cherry tomatoes, marcona almonds and basil seeds. Second course options include heartier selections like Carolina gold rice risotto with stinging nettles and artichokes, or grilled branzino served with leeks, snow peas with a lemongrass emulsion, and more. To round out a delectable meal, guests have a choice of three dessert options including pandan cotta with carrot cake and cream cheese mousse, or dark chocolate with salted caramel sabayon, and lastly, blueberry field with lemon cream and date sable. Raf’s will offer a three-course brunch menu this Easter. Brunch includes a pastry and bread basket with hot cross buns alongside a choice of oysters, yogurt, or an asparagus and gruyere vol-au-vent. For the entrees, guests will have a choice of roast leg of lamb with spring onion pesto and rosemary potatoes, mascarpone polenta with spring peas and slow-cooked egg and charred bread, or tilefish with artichoke barigoule and kale. For dessert, choose between the torte di carote with mascarpone crème or a rhubarb lemon tart. There will also be an optional pasta supplement: Mafaldine with rabbit ragu and favas for $31 or saffron spaghetti with crab and chilies at $36. Reservations, for $95 for person, via Resy.
Add a little Swedish flair to your easter with a brunch by Chef Emma Bengtsson. Options include Aquavit’s signature Herring preparations, Shrimp Skagen toast, pickled vegetables, and cheese gougères. Splurge-seeking celebrators can also add Löjrom at $65 per ounce or Osetra caviar at $125 per ounce. For a main course, choose from grilled lamb rack with barley, broccolini, truffle lamb jus, or Icelandic cod with egg, shrimp and brown butter. Celebrate Easter near Times Square at The Lambs Club in the Chatwal Hotel. During brunch, families can mingle near the fireplace and indulge in an ornate buffet with parfait cups, smoked salmon, house-made baked goods, a cheese platter, salad, and pasta. For the second course, guests can choose brunch a la carte including eggs Benedict, Brioche French toast, an omelette, The Standard White Burger, and a fried chicken sandwich. Celebrate Easter in style with a three-course menu for brunch and dinner. The Modern will serve an extravagant five course tasting menu Easter lunch. Expect green and white asparagus with smoked salmon and sorrel cream, grilled lobster with chanterelle mushrooms and wild garlic, and dry aged duck with artichoke and smoked potato tart. For dessert, Executive Pastry Chef Nick will be creating a variety of festive Easter candies, cakes, and chocolates for a perfect finish to the holiday meal. For Easter, enjoy Porter House’s regular menu in addition to luxurious specials including Maine lobster bisque with lobster nuggets, roast prime rib au jus with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce and roast rack of lamb with a mustard crust accompanied by spring vegetable tomato broth couscous with asparagus, fresh peas and fava beans.
