Cushman & Wakefield announced that it has been appointed as the exclusive retail agent for Heritage White Plains, a new ground-up project that will feature more than 48,000 s/f of open-air retail space in White Plains, NY.
The retail development, which will rise on a parcel of land adjacent to the office building at 120 Bloomingdale Road, will be situated south of The Westchester and Galleria malls and directly across the street from Bloomingdale’s.
With a projected delivery date of 2015, the project is being developed by a partnership of Caspi Development, LLC and Faros Properties, LLC.
Jessica Curtis and Skip Lane from Cushman & Wakefield’s Stamford, Conn. office will collaborate with Alan Schmerzler and Brad Mendelson from the firm’s New York World Headquarters office in handling the leasing duties on behalf of ownership.
“Heritage White Plains is being positioned in the marketplace as an upscale, luxury ‘main street’ environment meant to appeal to shoppers who enjoy strolling the fashionable shopping venues of Manhattan, Greenwich, New Canaan and Westport, while enjoying a selection of fine dining with indoor and outdoor seating,” commented Curtis.
“With immediate highway access and abundant on-site parking, Heritage White Plains will also offer ease of access that is not available in these markets” added Lane.
“We are excited to be working with ownership to bring this outstanding project to the marketplace” said Schmerzler. “We are going to create a beautiful, upscale and diverse shopping experience, inspired by the likes of Americana Manhasset and The Shoppes at Bal Harbour, with an inviting boulevard and upscale dining options that will offer a sophisticated streetscape for shoppers to enjoy as they stroll from boutique to boutique.”
